Run Your Story Podcast (we, us, or our) operates the website runyourstory.com and the Run Your Story mobile app (together, the Services). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

You can browse the Services without creating an account. We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it:
- Contact forms: When you submit a form (for example, to be interviewed, partner with us, or ask a question), we collect the name, email address, and any details you provide so we can respond to you.
- Automatic data: Like most websites, our hosting servers may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the Services running. The mobile app does not require an account and does not include third-party advertising or analytics tracking.

Third-Party Services
The Services display or link to content from third parties whose use is governed by their own privacy policies:
- Buzzsprout hosts and streams our podcast episodes.
- Spreadshop powers our online store and any purchases you make there.
- Patreon handles supporter memberships if you choose to support the show.
- Podcast players and social media such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X, when you follow those links.
We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Services, or when required by law.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Contact form submissions (your name, email address, and message) are retained for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence, and are deleted when they are no longer needed or upon your request. Server log data (such as IP address and browser type) is kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, and is then deleted or anonymized. The Run Your Story mobile app does not create an account and does not itself store personal information on your device or on our servers. You may request deletion of the personal information you have provided at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for a general audience, are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
