SUMMARY:Skyway 10K 2024
DESCRIPTION:Behind the race is a reason. From its inception\, the Skyway 10K has raised more than $2.6 million for the Armed Forces Families Foundation\, contributing 100% of its profits to the mission of funding infrastructure projects that support military families throughout the nation. To date\, the AFFF overall has contributed more than $4.2 million to infrastructure projects for communities across the United States. \nThe Skyway 10K is a point-to-point course from Manatee County to Pinellas County running northbound over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. While participants will complete the race on the bridge\, a second finish line is located at Tropicana Field where racers can greet friends and family\, receive their medals\, and enjoy the Post-Race Expo! \nPlease note: The northbound span of the bridge will close at 3:30AM EST on Sunday morning and will reopen at 11AM EST sharp. The southbound lanes will remain open throughout the entire race.

SUMMARY:Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon and 5k 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon is the longest-distance running race held in Tuscaloosa Alabama each year.  Runners get a sampling of the rolling hills along the Black Warrior River\, the Tuscaloosa River Walk\, portions of the University of Alabama campus\, and some quaint downtown neighborhoods.  Runners can also choose to participate in the Publix 5K and get in on the action! The Start and Finish line is located at Government Plaza where participants have plenty of space to spread out\, enjoy the run\, and celebrate with live music\, good food\, and cold beer. \nFRESHJUNKIE Racing (FJR) is committed to keeping this popular race a local favorite as well as a regional attraction for runners from all over the Southeast.  Portions of registration proceeds are directed to our selected Charity Partners as well as other volunteer and philanthropic groups. \nWe invite you to join us for the 11th anniversary of West Alabama’s premier half-marathon race weekend and enjoy everything this great community has to offer!

In addition to awards stating “Pensacola City Championships”\, the overall male and female winners for both the 5k and 10K will be welcome and recognized at a city council meeting following the race.  We are pleased to continue to offer a virtual race option. \nWe look forward to working with the community to grow this great\, fun\, unique event. All proceeds benefit Creative Learning Academy and Pensacola Sports. \n

DESCRIPTION:Grab your friends and family and hop on over to the Infirmary Health Bunny Bolt on Saturday\, March 30\, 2024 on the campus of Mobile Infirmary. This is a family friendly event with a 5K run\, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and post-race festivities. Awards will be provided to Top 3 Overall and Top 3 in each Age Group (Male and Female). Each participant will receive an event shirt and armband to attend the post-race party.\n\nAdditional T-shirts may be purchased for $20 and extra armbands may be purchased for $10 online or on the day of the race while supplies last.\nThe post-race party will include food\, music and photos with the Bunny. This year there will also be an Easter Egg hunt so bring a basket if you want to participate. The post-race party will end at noon.\n\nProceeds from the event will benefit children’s health education programs at the Exploreum Science Center and the Fuse Project. Infirmary Health’s mission is LIFE and we are excited to offer the community a fun way to support initiatives that will improve the health of our children.
