DESCRIPTION:July 30th is World Day Against Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking is the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the WORLD. How? You can sell a bag of drugs once\, but sell a child 5 to 8 times a day. \n\n\n\nTo recognize that this is an issue our state and community faces\, we wanted to create an event that helps raise funds for a survivor scholarship. For every $5 that is donated\, we pledge to run/walk a mile. The morning of the 30th we encourage individuals to come out\, runner or not\, as a way to raise awareness and pray for the victims and survivors that face this horrific crime. We plan to kick off the event at 7:30am with praise and worship with our run/walk following around 8am.\n\n\n\nThis event is being hosted by Stopping Traffick and Run Your Story. Whether you want to lace up your running shoes or donate to help raise awareness\, we encourage you to participate in any way you can. Together\, we can make a difference. We can be the change.
