DESCRIPTION:The Tammany Turkey Trot takes to the streets of Covington again on Thanksgiving morning.  Ready to experience the history of downtown Covington\, or show it off to your visiting family and friends?  Here’s your chance to #EarnYourTurkey! \nAthletes will start their Thanksgiving run just north of downtown Covington. From there\, both 5K and 5-mile runners will make their way through downtown and into the splendor of moss-covered trees that line the streets. Close to St. Paul’s High School runners will head slightly west before turning north.  From there\, it’s a return trip for the finish line at the St. Tammany Courthouse! \n5 Mile runners will finish their Turkey “tour” with a scenic jaunt further south past more beautiful homes before rejoining with the 5K course and heading north back to downtown. \nNew in 2023 is a 1 Mile Fun Run option that will start at 7:30am prior to the 5K and 5 Mile Run.

DESCRIPTION:The Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K is a partnership between LSU Athletics and FRESHJUNKIE Racing that brings the tradition of LSU Football and Tiger Stadium into a fun\, festive road race event that includes a 5K and a Kids 1 Mile Race (ages 12 and under).  The goal of the event is to give the entire LSU community: fans\, students\, alumni\, faculty and staff\, no matter age or ability\, an opportunity to complete their journey in Tiger Stadium.  Participants get to make their mark on the hallowed ground where so many have left theirs.  A festive post-race party with live music\, cold beer and good food is being planned to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments.

DESCRIPTION:The Azalea Trail Run is an annual road running event held in late March in Mobile\, Alabama which is considered one of the United States’ premier road races. Runners\, walkers\, and wheelchair athletes from around the world and at all levels turn out for the event. SUMMARY:Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon and 5k 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon is the longest-distance running race held in Tuscaloosa Alabama each year.  Runners get a sampling of the rolling hills along the Black Warrior River\, the Tuscaloosa River Walk\, portions of the University of Alabama campus\, and some quaint downtown neighborhoods.  Runners can also choose to participate in the Publix 5K and get in on the action! The Start and Finish line is located at Government Plaza where participants have plenty of space to spread out\, enjoy the run\, and celebrate with live music\, good food\, and cold beer. \nFRESHJUNKIE Racing (FJR) is committed to keeping this popular race a local favorite as well as a regional attraction for runners from all over the Southeast.  Portions of registration proceeds are directed to our selected Charity Partners as well as other volunteer and philanthropic groups. \nWe invite you to join us for the 11th anniversary of West Alabama’s premier half-marathon race weekend and enjoy everything this great community has to offer!
