DESCRIPTION:We are gearing up for the 8th Annual Caring for Caryn’s Kids 5K/1 Mile Fun Run! \nCK5K is a race to honor Mrs. Caryn Hyatt-Suthoff\, a former Dodge Elementary kindergarten teacher\, who lost her battle with cancer. We have had an event each year in her honor and the funds raised will help send one of her kindergarten students to school on a scholarship one day! \nThe event will feature a DJ\, activities for kids\, free food and beverages\, as well as a chance to win one of our amazing door prizes! All of this is for a great cause! \nEvent details and schedule\nSaturday\, April 15\, 2023 \n5K- 8:00AM           Fun Run- 9:00AM \nBenefits: Caryn’s Kids 2027 Scholarship Fund \nDate & Time: Saturday\, April 15\, 2023\, \n5K will begin at 8 AM \nFun Run will begin at 9 AM \nDistance: 5K Course & Fun Run approximately 1 Mile \nLocation: The Grounds\, 1035 Cody Road N.\, Mobile\, AL 36608 \nRegistration: Register by mail\, no later than April 1. Race packets will be available at The Grounds on race day beginning at 6:30 AM. Register in person at Sessions Farm Market (Grand Bay) prior to April 1. \nEntry Fees: \n• Registration $25 \n• Spirit Runners $20 (Spirit Runners will receive a t-shirt & can participate in the after-party. Spirit Runners must pick up shirts on race day. \nAwards: 5K: Top Three Male & Female Winners in each Category Fun Run: Top Male & Female Group with most participation: \nAges 0-9; Ages 10-19; Ages 20-29; Ages 30-39; Ages 40+ \nT-Shirts: To guarantee a shirt\, you must submit your registration application no later than March 1. \nPost-Race: Refreshments\, music\, and awards ceremony. Children’s activities will be available as well.
