DESCRIPTION:The Azalea Trail Run is an annual road running event held in late March in Mobile\, Alabama which is considered one of the United States’ premier road races. Runners\, walkers\, and wheelchair athletes from around the world and at all levels turn out for the event. The 10-kilometer race is known for its fast\, flat course along Mobile’s oak-shaded streets and has seen blistering records set by runners since its inception. \nPre-register by mail\, in person at McCoy Outdoor\, Run-N-Tri\, or Fleet Feet in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on March 21 or online. \nFriday\n\nNoon – 6:00 PM – Early packet pick-up and late registration at Mardi Gras Park\n\nSaturday\n\n6:00 AM – 7:00 AM Late registration at Mardi Gras Park\n6:00 AM –  9:00 AM- Packet pick-up at Mardi Gras Park\n8:00 AM – 10K Start\n8:20 AM – 5K Start\n8:45 AM – Food and beverages available for race participants at Mardi Gras Park\n9:30 AM – 2K Start\n10:30 AM (approx.) – Awards at Mardi Gras Park\n\n2023 10K  map \n2023 5K map

SUMMARY:Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon and 5k 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon is the longest-distance running race held in Tuscaloosa Alabama each year.  Runners get a sampling of the rolling hills along the Black Warrior River\, the Tuscaloosa River Walk\, portions of the University of Alabama campus\, and some quaint downtown neighborhoods.  Runners can also choose to participate in the Publix 5K and get in on the action! The Start and Finish line is located at Government Plaza where participants have plenty of space to spread out\, enjoy the run\, and celebrate with live music\, good food\, and cold beer. \nFRESHJUNKIE Racing (FJR) is committed to keeping this popular race a local favorite as well as a regional attraction for runners from all over the Southeast.  Portions of registration proceeds are directed to our selected Charity Partners as well as other volunteer and philanthropic groups. \nWe invite you to join us for the 11th anniversary of West Alabama’s premier half-marathon race weekend and enjoy everything this great community has to offer!
