DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by: \nFirst Baptist Church of Satsuma and Satsuma High School Cross Country \nLocation: \nBaldwin Square\, Old Highway 43 (Orange Ave)\, Satsuma\, AL 36572 Distances: 5K course through the neighborhoods of Satsuma and 1 Mile Fun Run. \nRegistration: \nRegister by mail (entries should be postmarked by December 2)\, in person at First Baptist Church of Satsuma\, McCoy Outdoor\, Run-N-Tri\, or Fleet Feet in Mobile until noon on December 7\, or online at Events.com until 8 AM December 8. \nRace day registration and packet pick-up at Baldwin Square from 7:00 – 7:50 AM. \nEntry fees: \nEntry fees include a race shirt. SUMMARY:Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon 2023
DESCRIPTION:We couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the Eighth Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon\, a Coastal Running Fest. \nFounded in 2015\, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon\, a Coastal Running Fest\, showcases the local culture with a beautiful beachside run from Pass Christian to Biloxi. Kick off the weekend in Biloxi for Packet Pickup and grab some commemorative merchandise to celebrate your accomplishment. Saturday morning is our Chevron Kids Marathon 1 Mile Run and the Margaritaville 5K from their new venue at Margaritaville Resort – Biloxi.  Sunday starts as the sun rises over the Gulf for the Full & Half Marathons along the coast. Runners who run the 5K on Saturday as a warm-up to the Sunday races earn the coveted Double Down challenge medal. The weekend culminates at the finish line inside MGM Stadium with a Finish Festival complete with hot food\, cold beer\, and watching runners cross the finish line on the jumbotron.

DESCRIPTION:The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival is a nonprofit organization with a focus on promoting health and physical fitness through running events and related activities. Established in 1971\, the history of the organization encompasses tremendous growth and produces what has become Dallas’ largest and Texas’ longest running marathon\, the BMW Dallas Marathon\, as well as several other weekend event options including a Half Marathon\, Half Marathon Walk\, 50K Ultra Marathon\, 2-person half marathon relay\, 5-person marathon relay\, 10K\, 5K\, a 5K Team Challenge\, 5K Walk\, the Friday Night Lights Mile and various Kids Races. \nRunning and walking in the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival highlights the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods\, entertainment districts and iconic Dallas landmarks. Tens of thousands of spectators join in BMW Dallas Marathon Day – the second Sunday of December – lining the streets and neighborhoods to cheer on participants in a race that is recognized as the official marathon of the City of Dallas. \nSince naming a primary beneficiary in 1997\, the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival has donated more than $4 million to Scottish Rite for Children.
